The Yard
I needed something light and maybe a touch frivolous that would keep my attention and got just that from The Yard.The characters are interesting and likeable and the multiple mysteries intertwine satisfyingly but don't offer much in the way of suspense. The setting of the Scotland Yard murder squad a year after the Ripper murders is a good one; the shadow of that failure to capture Jack hanging over the whole plot.If Grecian chooses to continue with these characters I'll probably join him.
